MARKERBOARDS

Deluxe porcelain steel markerboards have become the standard in visual education throughout the world, not only in schools, but also in offices, industry, and virtually anywhere visual teaching is important.

The surface accepts just about any writing medium and is magnetic. The “dry-wipe” marker is the most popular medium used now, as it applies easily, and wipes off with almost no dust. The Porcelain steel is available in low gloss and high gloss.

Our boards are made with Polyvision Porcelain Steel. Our selection includes wall mounted boards  and rolling marker boards. We offer two different trim colors: Clear Satin Anodized and Black. The trim includes a full length marker tray and a full-length 1″ map rail with natural cork insert. Map Rail accessories can also be added upon request. Accessories include: Map Rail End Caps to prevent accessories from sliding off the rail, Map Clips and Flag holders. Map Rails can also be expanded to 2″ upon request and can also have the natural cork substituted with Forbo colored cork.

Glass Markerboards

Chalkboards

The chalkboards are manufactured with the same high quality materials as our markerboards. The only difference is that our chalkboards use a matte finish, which is slightly rougher to give the surface more “tooth” to capture the chalk. These are the most durable chalkboards available today! The porcelain steel magnetic surface comes with a variety of colors, the most common of which are green and black.

The boards accept magnetic aids, and come framed in satin anodized aluminum or black. Standard features include a full length chalk tray and a full length map rail with natural cork insert as well as mounting hardware. Map rail accessories are also available upon request.

TACKABLE WALL PANELS

Tackable wall panels allow ordinary walls to become teaching and communication centers. They are designed to maximize total wall space, from floor to ceiling. We can produce many varied sizes of tackable wall panels and carry many frequently used sizes and colors in stock. We offer clear satin anodized and black trim as well as trimless boards. Vinyl is machine laminated to a lightweight wood fiber panel one-half inch thick, and it is wrapped around the long edges. 
 
These wall panels have a decidedly custom appearance and yield outstanding acoustical control qualities and are both lightweight and durable. Easy to install they can add a design flair to virtually any application from classrooms and gymnasiums to restaurants and offices. This stylish product will fit perfectly into any decor and comes in a variety of colors & textures.

VINYL BULLETIN BOARDS

Tough and durable, Venus vinyl bulletin boards are easy to clean, self healing, and flame resistant. The boards come in a wide variety of colors. Crayon, glue, and other soiled areas are washable with detergent and water. The boards are factory trimmed with anodized aluminum. The textures available on the vinyl surface diminishes the visibility of pin holes and the non-fading properties of these boards will keep them useful and attractive for many years. We also provide edge-wrapped with no frame.

FABRIC BULLETIN BOARDS

These tackable fabric boards offer beautiful design aesthetics and are tough, with long term durability. The fabric is washable and unaffected by most chemicals and other cleaning agents. Made with 100% polyester wall and panel fabrics these boards are ASTM-E 84 flame tunnel tested with a class “A” rating. Boards may be framed in aluminum or may be ordered with all four edges fabric wrapped.

NATURAL CORK BULLETIN BOARDS

Wherever a bulletin board is needed, Venus has premium quality, pure grain, natural cork surfaces that are ideal for use by schools, industry, offices, and institutions. Smooth and resilient surfaces remain soft and pliable indefinitely. Pins and thumbtacks can be inserted easily and are gripped firmly by the self healing natural cork. The high quality natural cork surface is laminated to rigid board to enhance its durability. Natural cork is available in two thicknesses and can also be vinyl-wrapped. Trim is available in clear satin anodized and black.

Processed CORK BULLETIN BOARDS

Processed Cork bulletin boards using Forbo Linoleum Cork are also available. Made from pure natural ingredients that combine under heat and pressure to create a smooth, uniformly dense surface of unsurpassed beauty and durability. Available in a variety of solid colors that go all the  way through to the burlap backing. Forbo processed cork bulletin boards are soil resistant and have washable surfaces. The self healing surface enables tacks to insert easily and grip firmly. The surface resists cracking, peeling, or scraping and is low light reflectant for ease of viewing. An environmentally friendly product, these processed cork bulletin boards naturally inhibit bacterial growth and are manufactured with no toxins so there are never any harmful emissions. Manufactured with toughness in mind they will stand up to repeated rough use year after year. Also available in large rolls to create floor to ceiling, wall to wall display surfaces. Forbo is available  in 15 neutral and vibrant colors to fit your every need and Venus carries a variety of colors in stock. Trim is available in clear satin anodized and black and mounting hardware is included.

ROLL AROUND BOARDS

Mobility and efficiency is what our roll around boards are all about. These versatile boards can be set up in any location or moved around while a classroom or training session is ongoing. One or both sides of the board can be made of any of our board materials; markerboard, chalkboard, or tackboard. Usable as a room divider, the board rolls quietly on four casters and there are two locking wheels available. A full length chalk tray at the bottom is an option. The durable welded steel frame will hold up over the years. The most popular setup is with white steel markerboard or processed cork tack board.
